Collection: Pamela Lauz

Jewellery has been my life’s passion for as long as I can remember. One of my favourite past-times while growing up in Peru was to walk along the beach in search of beautiful seashells and pebbles that I would transform into wearable art. As I grew up, I would spend all my allowance on beads and jewellery supplies.

My journey to becoming a professional jeweller, however, had a more technical start. After high school, I pursued and completed an Engineering degree at the University of Waterloo, which led to a rewarding career in the software industry.

After 10 years in software, I took the leap to turn my passion into my new profession by moving to San Francisco to complete the Goldsmithing Program at the Revere Academy of Jewellery Arts. During this time, I also completed the Graduate Gemologist Program at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in Carlsbad, California.

I strive to attain visual harmony by distilling design to its very essence. Simplicity is a beautiful challenge. The angles and twists in my sculptural creations are accented with shimmering textures and sparkling genuine gems.

My jewellery designs are handcrafted with care and joy in my Toronto studio.
